Afghan weddings are large, and size is where most venues create friction — parking that runs out, a lobby that cannot absorb an arrival, a room that seats the guest list but leaves no floor for Attan.
ERA is planned around the guest count from the first conversation. Layouts are drawn to your list, the lobby handles arrivals without a bottleneck, and parking is ample. Because we host one event at a time, the entire building — lobby, hall, suite and parking — belongs to your family for the night.
Large Afghan weddings arrive in waves, and the first bottleneck is usually the door. The lobby is sized to absorb an arrival without a queue forming outside, with room for a receiving line, a gift table and the sweets display before guests move into the main hall.

The Entrance and the Takht
The Ahesta Boro entrance is the most photographed moment of the night, and it needs a controlled approach — a clear path, guests positioned, lighting cued and sound handled cleanly. Our team plans the route and timing with your MC and DJ before the date.
The takht is positioned against room sightlines so guests at every table see the couple. Nikkah, cake, Shirini and the ceremonial sequences are built into the run of show rather than improvised, and lighting shifts between them are pre-set.
Attan needs open floor, and the dance floor is sized to the guest count rather than fixed at a standard footprint. Sound is configured for live percussion as well as DJ playback, with volume set by your family rather than a neighbouring event. Start times and the end of the night are written into your agreement — relevant when the celebration begins late and runs long.
Halal Afghan Menus
Our culinary team and preferred catering partners prepare Afghan menus at wedding scale using halal suppliers, with requirements confirmed in writing ahead of the date. Where your family works with a specific Afghan caterer, the preparation kitchen is equipped for licensed outside catering.
Most Afghan weddings we host are alcohol-free, and the bar area runs instead as a soft drink, juice, mocktail and tea service. Where a limited bar is preferred, that is accommodated — the venue holds its own liquor licence and bar service is staffed by our team, so no permit is required from your family.

The venue comfortably hosts intimate weddings of 30 through to celebrations of 200 or more, depending on layout, head table configuration and dance floor size.
Can we hold the ceremony on site?

Yes. Ceremony and reception can both be hosted at the venue, with a room reset in between.
Do you allow outside caterers?

The venue is equipped with a preparation kitchen for licensed caterers. Our own culinary team is also available. Both routes are discussed during your consultation.
Is the venue accessible?

Entirely. The building is stair-free throughout, with accessible washrooms and parking.
How far in advance should we book?

Saturdays in peak season are typically reserved twelve to eighteen months ahead. Off-peak dates and Friday or Sunday weddings often have shorter lead times and different pricing.
