Middle Eastern Weddings in Oakville – Grand, High-Energy, and Elevated

Celebrate your Middle Eastern wedding at ERA Event Space, where large-scale celebrations meet a refined, modern setting. Whether you’re planning a Lebanese, Palestinian, Persian, Syrian, or Arab wedding, our venue is designed to handle high-energy entrances, live entertainment, and fully customized event experiences.

Room for the Entrance

The Zaffe sets the tone for the entire night, and it needs space — a clear approach for the drummers, room for the procession to build, and sound that carries without fighting the room.

The venue's lobby and main hall are configured so the entrance can be staged properly: guests positioned, lighting cued, and a path that does not force the procession through a narrow corridor. Our team coordinates the timing directly with your Zaffe group, MC and DJ so the handoff into the reception is clean.

Because ERA hosts a single event at a time, the volume, the timing and the length of the celebration are set by your family rather than by a neighbouring party or a hard changeover. Start times, dinner service and the end of the night are written into your agreement — relevant when the reception begins late and peaks well past midnight.

Halal Menus and Culinary Planning

Menus are built with you. Our culinary team and preferred catering partners work with halal suppliers and prepare Levantine, Egyptian and Gulf menus at the scale a wedding requires.

Common structures include mezze service during cocktails — hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush, kibbeh, sambousek — followed by grilled mains and mixed grill platters, or a plated main course. Rice dishes are served family style, including mansaf, ouzi and kabsa depending on your family's tradition. Dessert displays carry baklava, knafeh and Arabic sweets, with Arabic coffee and tea service through the evening.

Halal requirements are confirmed in writing before the date. If your family works with a specific caterer or sweets supplier, the preparation kitchen accommodates licensed outside catering.

Bar and Beverage Options

Some families serve alcohol, some do not, and some run a limited bar. All three are straightforward here.

The venue holds its own liquor licence and all bar service is run and staffed by our team, so no Special Occasion Permit is required from your family. The built-in bar can be run as a full bar, a wine-and-soft-drink service, or converted entirely to a mocktail and juice station with an Arabic coffee counter. Tell us the approach during planning and the room is set accordingly.
